In
August 2000, Russ was on staff with a church in the Seattle area,
and all of the other folks who would eventually make up his “team”
were living on the west coast as well. None had ever considered
the thought of moving to the Boston area, much less starting a
new church in Harvard Square. Quite suddenly, though, that all
changed. This group, prompted by a common vision to begin a new
congregation, collectively moved to Massachusetts to start the
work. Now, several years after our first service, we have
been blessed with a thriving community.
Just as we believe that God had a plan to bring us to the east
coast to help start Grace Street, we believe that God has incredible
plans for your life, plans that “you would not believe if
you were told.” (Habakkuk 1: 5) Our goal is to walk with
you as you journey into your future and begin to understand what
God has in store for you.
